All right: Here’s a picture of the little devil. Isn’t he mad, evil cute? ^_^ And the total kicker: He is about the size of my “Ein” plush corgi from COWBOY BEBOP. (Maybe that’s why Josie’s adjusting fairly well… She snuggles up to the stuffed animal all the time.)
Taking Stock and Moving Forward
Closed Published by Alison August 29th, 2004 in fox demon, kitty-mon, life.I’ve been off — WAAY OFF — of my (extra-curricular) working schedule these past weeks. Feeling blech this last week sure didn’t help, and neither did Corgi-proofing my side of the house. JR got a cute little four-month-old named “Sam” today. I’m really surprised, but Josie didn’t totally freak out. Needless to say, I’m considering [...]
How’d that happen? :-P Anyway, I can’t believe that tomorrow is Friday, and I still have so much to do. The beginning of the week, I was totally consumed by two projects — one for work and the other for the band — and last night/today/tonight, I’ve been sick. My stomach is just acting up [...]
Red Bull, the RUSH IN RIO concert DVD and a lot of catalog work for work is not a good combination. Time to drag myself out of my home office and to my bedroom before I pass out right at the desk. I didn’t realize quite how late it was. >_
By this time, the people that I really felt needed a heads up have had it for a couple weeks, and it’s O.K. to let the other 40-odd mystery people who read my blog in on the major news of the last few weeks: I resigned from the “media and guest relations director” position that [...]
It’s sick when one day off of work — bad weather — can put so many other things behind. I’m even behind on my blog posting, and a few of you who know me in real life have asked about a particular subject. I’ll get to it. Promise. I’ve got TRUCKLOADS of stuff to do [...]
Charley was kind of anti-climatic… and that’s a good thing. No damage to the house or car, and no flooding. Now I just have a lot of cleaning up to do in my office at work, but again — compared to the prospect of utter destruction — I can deal with it. It’s time to [...]
http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT/float-vis-loop.html The radar and satellite shots are pretty nifty. I love the Internet. ^_^
As I was walking outside, I just realized I didn’t have any pictures of the new vehicle. (How much would it suck if it got damaged during the storm, and I didn’t have any “new car” photos?) This is when I LOVE the digital camera. Posting these might be too much stalker fodder for me [...]
Everything’s closed and most of the streets are empty: We’re in a holding pattern until the gross weather really begins. My dad had to evacuate, and my cousin convinced my grandmother and aunt — and pets! — to evacuate to her condo in one of Pinellas county’s few “safe zones.” We’re staying put. The poor [...]
